  2. 1 lemon juice
  3. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  4. 1/2 tsp sugar
  5. 5-6 green chillies
  6. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  7. 1 tsp oil
  8. 1/2 tsp eno fruit salt
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Water as required
  11. Coriander

Instructions to make to make Nylon Khaman

  1. In a mixing bowl, add besan, salt, lemon juice, turmeric powder and by gradually adding water make batter for khaman.
  2. Pre heat the dhokla cooker by adding water in the bottom of the vessel.
  3. Now add eno in the batter and stir in one direction. Pour this batter into a oil greased plate.
  4. Put this plate into the dhokla cooker and cover the lid. Let it steam for 15 minutes.
  5. When khaman is ready, take out and let it cool. Meanwhile prepare the tempering for it. In a small pan heat oil and add mustard seeds. When it splutter, add green chillies and add half glass of water into it & add sugar,lemon juice into it and give it one boil. Water will make khaman soft.
  6. Cut the khaman into squares and pour the tempering on it evenly with the spoon. Sprinkle coriander leaves. Delicious khaman is ready to serve.
