  2. Then take a mixer jar and add chana dal and curd. Blend it until fluffy batter. Transfer the batter into a bowl and keep it in a warm place for fermentation for 8-10 hours.
  3. Now add salt, turmeric and crushed ginger-chilli. Mix it well. Then add baking soda and mix it properly.
  4. Heat a steamer. Grease the plate with oil. Pour a batter and steam it about 10 minutes.
  5. Let it cool down completely. Then crumble it roughly.
  6. Heat a kadai and add oil. Then splutter mustard seeds. Then add chopped green chilli and curry leaves.
  7. Now add crumbled khaman into a kadai. Add sugar and mix it.
  8. Transfer into the serving plate. Garnish with chopped coriander and sev. (You can also add pomegranate seeds)
