  17. 1 tbsp Chopped coriander

Steps to make to make Khaman dhokla

  1. Take a bowl add besan, suji, ginger paste, chillies paste, sugar, salt and turmeric powder. Mix it well and then add water accordingly to make a pouring consistency.
  2. Now add lemon juice and mix well.
  3. Grease a container.
  4. Before steaming add fruit salt and give a gentle mix.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased container and give a tab.
  6. Steam for 10 to 15 min or till the toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Once the dhokla is ready keep aside.
  8. FOR TADKA Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, asafoetida and green chillies.
  9. When the seeds crackle add half cup of water and 4 tsp sugar (according to your taste)
  10. Keep it for 3 to 4 min on low flame.
  11. Remove from the flame and pour the tempering over the dhoklas.
